We are 3 generations of intelligent, competent, serious and passionate math-educators and scholars:
- Founding Partner & Head Educator: University/College Professor for a decade, including The University of Toronto; Cognitive Systems Engineering Researcher from The University of Waterloo, Ontario
- Senior Pedagogical Advisor: Professor Emeritus Melli University (National University of Iran, Tehran); Educational Psychologist from Linköping University, Sweden
- Teaching Assistants: Two top Ontario high school students with consistent math averages of 97+ percent during K-12
- Instructors: Intelligent and competent graduate and upper-year undergraduate pure/applied mathematics students from The University of Waterloo

We are great at teaching and we are passionate about mathematics.
The Problem
Mathematics at Ontario Elementary and Secondary Schools, is mostly taught poorly.
Truth is, our children are at risk: risk of subquality inadequate math learning, subquality critical thinking skills, therefore subquality performance in the university and in future complex jobs.
The Ontario math curriculum is reasonably good, but many teachers don't know mathematics, don't like mathematics, and don't have the skills to teach mathematics. And many teachers simply don't care.
The result is that most students develop a dislike for math and do poorly at school. Consequently, most students struggle in courses that depend on mathematical knowledge and skills, such as high school statistics, physics, chemistry and technology. Then, the students' chances to get into useful programs at the university level are reduced, and they often end up choosing useless university/college disciplines.

We use all the key publications that support the Ontario math curriculum in our teaching. We supplement the texts with personalized math practices and problem-solving tactics. We work with each individual student and deeply understand his/her math strengths and weaknesses. Every lesson and tutorial session is overseen by our Head Educator.
Our Location
The Toronto Math Center was first established in Richmond Hill, Ontario, serving communities in the York Region, Greater Toronto Area. In Summer of 2025 our second location will be opening in the Metropolitan Toronto Area. Please contact us for details.
